Calculate the required resistance and power rating for LEDs connected in series.
Formula: R = (Vs - (Vf × N)) / If
Make sure the source voltage is high enough to drive the total forward voltage of all LEDs in the series string.
Choose a resistor with at least double the calculated power dissipation for long-term reliability. For 0.060W, use at least a 0.12W rated resistor.
